Announcing a Return!

Hello members and fans of Minecraft Star Server.

Static here (Most of you probably know me as Yuro) with some great news! Minecraft Star Server is announcing its return! Construction of the old works has begun and plugin work is nearing completion. All the old worlds will be back including Main World, PvP World and SandBox! Having said that, there will be a few news ones, including a mini games world where you can compete for prizes!

Of course all this wont last without your donations towards the server to keep its upkeep and even upgrade it in the future! We have introduced a new rank system for donators and we are gonna see how it works out. There are now 5 tiers of donator ranks. Iron, Gold, Diamond, Obsidian, and Emerald. Prices for them vary and you'll have to check in-game for the cost. There are many new perks and abilities being added all the time for the ranks - Including protected plots, kits and new commands! VIP Iron, Gold and Diamond will be once-a-month payments, whereas Obsidian and Emerald are once every 3 month payments. Again, check in-game for prices.

Main World is nearing completion and with that, work on PvP World will start as soon as possible. We are going to be changing the idea of PvP World, so it will act as a "PvP Server" rather than the older style we used to have. SandBox will be available for VIP Obsidian+, which is our creative world where you can build that ever you like. Events will take place once a week, and they will vary from week to week. As for rules, they are listed in spawn and we expect you to follow them and keep them in mind as you play.

Server is now open publicly for all, however main world is just under completion so there is still building in progress. You are free to build anywhere outside spawn you like. There have been some staff changes and any old staff members may join and "apply" for their staff position back if they want. If not, we will be taking new staff members on soon.

Anyway, hopefully that's enough information for now. Any donations are appreciated!

Minecraft Star Server - Suspended

Hello, members of Minecraft Star Server !

I'm sorry about ''closing'' Minecraft server, BUT! its not my problem everything was paid and good, Host problem

Right now, server just randomly closed and was been suspended for unknown reason, contacting Host to get more informaion.

i will post more informaion as soon as i will be able to find some informaion, sorry

happened on 1:30 (UTC/GMT +2 hours)

EDIT #1:

i got information that Minecraft Server's are beeing moved to Dallas location.

BUT !!! The craziest i don't know what will happen with our PLUGING/WORLDS/FILES/BACKUPS and don't have any backups =(

Host still not answering, i dont know when server will be UP and working again i hope all files will be transfered to a ''new server''

I'll Post more info as soon as i will get more info.

Server now working.

IM SORRY FOR THAT LONG DOWNTIME ALL CAN USE : (/kit sorry) something awesome =)

we now have creative world for all. (check in portal hub)

and PvP world so pvp working only there its a new world so i recommend to play there :P

old main world are back, shops are working, new awesome plugins added,

we have a hunger games now type : ( /hg join ) to play it with friends

will add more plugins/worlds soon

have MCMMO now you can dig/mine/kill and earn LVL's and repair items (you can repair enchanted tools/armor but % that it will be successful are 50% so be careful and VIP rank have 100%)

much more new

so what are you waiting for join now !

I am sorry, we had some problems with our host.

all they UK servers not working anymore and they are trying to save backuped data to open server in US.

Soon we will move to a new IP, if they will not save server i'll just buy a new one.

I will update that thread every week to keep you with last news

EVENT : CREATIVE : best building

Hi all !
Soon server's old map will be back, and i was thinking to make a event like : all are getting creative, and in this world building something nice admins selecting best 3 works and they are getting rewards,
Some rules/info :
Players will be limited to a certain size of build, and grief will not be permitted (rollback, ban) . Players can build multiple builds in the sandbox, however each person may only submit one build to be judged. Winning builds will be saved and kept in a main map. Free topic, you can build house, monsters, hotels, new spawn, but not pixelart !

and when you started building you should set a sign with your username.
I'M SORRY BUT ONLY 1 PERSON CAN BUILD 1 BUILDING. SO YOU CANT DO IT WITH FRIENDS.

there will be 2 groups :

1. Members (all members) - 3 winners
2. Staff (moderators,admins...) - 3 winners

AFTER 10 days event will be over

To register in this event you need to comment this news with your info : username, join date, AFTER REGISTRATION YOU WILL GET CREATIVE MOD. (need to wait a little when staff will be online)

While no words can truly describe the level of sorrow i am feeling at the moment for the hurt that i have caused to this server; I feel that some words have been left unsaid. I have returned not asking for your forgiveness, but for forgetfulness. A new year is new hope after all i suppose. I do not intend to return and act as if nothing has happened, because that is impossible. I wish to make amends with you all and start anew. if any Star Server people has any problems with the server like being glitchy or something is wrong Here is the page!!! Dont Submit Problems with Minecraft updates and Bukkit updates messin up the server please...
